Our Story
Shanna Proffitt
Shanna is a multifaceted creative and trailblazer. A U.S. Navy veteran and second-generation Filipino American, she proudly served as a hospital corpsman for five years, including an honorable deployment to the Middle East, earning the Navy Achievement Medal for her dedication. After her service, she pursued her passion for the arts, utilizing the GI Bill to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 3D Animation from The Savannah College of Art & Design.
Shanna’s journey didn’t stop there — she’s also a published author, filmmaker, and musician, channeling her diverse talents into storytelling across multiple mediums. Today, she leads the animation department in marketing at an engineering company, blending her technical expertise with creative vision to bring ideas to life.
But her greatest masterpiece? Finding the love of her life. She’s beyond excited to start this beautiful new chapter with Emmanuel.
Emmanuel Saint Louis
Emmanuel earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. He began his career working at juvenile detention centers and halfway houses, where he dedicated his time to mentoring and guiding troubled youth. Though he found the work meaningful, he eventually decided to pursue a new path — transitioning into the world of Information Technology.
Today, Emmanuel serves as a Systems Administrator in cybersecurity for the U.S. Government, where he helps protect and secure critical systems throughout the nation.
While his career has taken him on many journeys, his greatest and most rewarding adventure is the one he’s about to begin — a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness with Shanna.
